Bios

Imani C. Davis was born and raised in Sacramento, California. At the age of 10, she began asking her parents for a video camera, for which she used to make short videos with her younger brother and sister. Keeping the interest through middle school and her early years of high school, she began working in the independent film circuit of Sacramento and at age 16 had been involved in such projects as "The Lernon Channel" and "Bump City". In her senior year, through the Regional Occupational Program, she obtained her Apple Certification for Final Cut Pro. She is attending American River College with hopes to transfer to the University of South California to study directing. She enjoys running, longboarding, gardening and enjoying her friends and family.

Melody Claussen-Furry likes to write about herself in the third-person. She also loves to try and piece together the objects that take up the space in her imagination. Sometimes, it works. Her short fiction has appeared in the Calaveras Station Journal, Pen and Sword, and Ken*Again. Her photos have appeared in shows at Ladyfest Olympia and the Tangent Gallery. Writing fiction and taking pictures naturally led her to film. What is film but story pixilated? The transition from fiction writing to screenwriting was more organic than she thought possible. However, the process still challenges her and is mentally agonizing…in a good way. She writes, photographs and drinks excessive amounts of coffee in Sacramento, California where she resides with her exceptional family.
